The Global Society of Modern Education (GSOME) proudly welcomes Ms. Gilly Anne Tribiana as its newly appointed Director for Multimedia Arts. A seasoned educator at iAcademy and a distinguished graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, where she earned her degree in Fine Arts, major in Advertising, Ms. Tribiana brings a wealth of expertise and creativity to GSOME’s leadership team.

Her appointment marks an important step in GSOME’s commitment to fostering innovation in education, particularly in the field of multimedia arts—a discipline that plays a critical role in shaping the future of Philippine artists and creators.

The Role of Multimedia Arts in the Future of Philippine Creators

In an increasingly digital world, multimedia arts have emerged as a powerful force that bridges traditional artistic expression with cutting-edge technology. From graphic design and animation to digital marketing and interactive media, multimedia arts are transforming the creative landscape in the Philippines and beyond.

  1. Unlocking Global Opportunities. With the rise of digital platforms, Filipino artists and creators are no longer confined to local markets. The global demand for digital content—whether in film, animation, gaming, or advertising—presents unprecedented opportunities for Filipino talents to showcase their work on an international stage.
  2. Enhancing Storytelling and Cultural Identity. Multimedia arts serve as a dynamic medium for Filipino creators to tell compelling stories that reflect the country’s rich history, culture, and traditions. Through animation, digital illustrations, and interactive media, artists can preserve and innovate on Filipino heritage while engaging modern audiences.
  3. Driving Innovation in Education and Business. Beyond the arts, multimedia skills are now integral to education, marketing, and business. From immersive learning experiences using augmented reality (AR) to branding and digital advertising, multimedia professionals are key players in today’s digital economy.
  4. Empowering Independent Artists and Entrepreneurs. The evolution of digital platforms has made it possible for artists to work as freelancers or independent creators. With skills in digital content creation, Filipino artists can establish their own brands, online businesses, and creative agencies, reducing their reliance on traditional media networks.

Ms. Tribiana’s Vision for GSOME’s Multimedia Arts Initiatives

As Director for Multimedia Arts, Ms. Tribiana will lead GSOME’s initiatives to integrate multimedia innovation into education, fostering the development of creative and tech-savvy individuals. Her background in advertising and fine arts, coupled with her experience in academia, positions her perfectly to mentor aspiring multimedia professionals.

Her vision includes:

  • Developing programs and workshops that equip learners with cutting-edge multimedia skills.
  • Encouraging collaboration between artists, educators, and tech experts to push the boundaries of creative education.
  • Expanding partnerships with institutions and industries to provide real-world opportunities for Filipino artists and creators.

A Bright Future Ahead

With Ms. Gilly Anne Tribiana at the helm of GSOME’s Multimedia Arts Division, the organization is poised to champion innovation, creativity, and digital transformation for aspiring Filipino artists and educators. Her leadership will play a crucial role in bridging art, technology, and education—empowering the next generation of creative professionals.

GSOME looks forward to an exciting journey ahead as we continue to shape the future of modern education and multimedia arts. Welcome aboard, Ms. Tribiana!
